Responsibilities:

• BE/BC OBGYN physician responsible for labor and delivery including triage & postpartum, ER, and urgent/emergency GYN surgery
• 12 hour shifts
• Obstetric care duties include managing labor & delivery triage, obstetric and antenatal admissions and rounding, labor management, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, postpartum rounding, discharge.
• Overseeing CNM providers and caring for CNM patients when physician level care indicated
• Occasionally will assist other physicians with scheduled cesarean deliveries.
• 24/7 in-house anesthesia. 24/7 in-house NICU provider.
• Level IV NICU delivering 22/24 weeks and above
• Labor & Delivery staffed by PMG physician, Back up Ob Hospitalist, CNM, independent group physician 24/7
• PMG Hospitalist's main responsibilities are to established OBGYN patients with PMG group.  Back up Ob Hospitalists care for unassigned Ob patients and MFM transports
• Daytime MFM in person consults, night MFM consults by phone
• Gynecologic care duties include ER, inpatient and outpatient consults, urgent/emergent GYN surgeries, rounding on consults or GYN admissions for established PMG patients.  Alternating GYN ER coverage with independent OBGYN group for unassigned patients

MD/DO Board-eligible or certified in OBGYN with State of New Mexico Medical License.
