Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Board Eligible / Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon to join our established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We're all about well-being, starting with yours. Practice Highlights:

  • A weekly mix of clinic, OR, and call
  • Call shared within the group
  • Full complment of surgical partners, advanced practice clinicians, and other orthopedic clinic specialists
  • Full scope practice with an emphasis in joints (knees and hips)

Responsibilities

Summary:
Presbyterian Healthcare Services' orthopedic surgery team is looking to add an additional orthopedic surgeon to it's existing group. Ideally the new team member will have an emphasis in joint surgery. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute a variety of joint surgeries, including total joint replacements, arthroscopies, and reconstructive surgeries, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including physical examinations and diagnostic imaging, to develop comprehensive treatment plans for joint-related conditions.
  • Monitor and manage postoperative recovery, providing follow-up care and rehabilitation plans to facilitate a successful recovery and restore joint function.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists and nursing staff, to coordinate patient care and enhance recovery processes.

Credentials: 
MD/DO, board eligible or certified in Orthopedic Surgery. State of New Mexico Medical License.
