Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a PRN (Per Required Need) APC NP Family Medicine inpatient behavioral health to join our established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Summary:
Makes all professional medical judgments in care of patients seen. Completes H & Ps for psychiatric inpatient units and provides follow up care for patient's medical conditions.
Responsibilities:
*Makes all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen.
*Manages the nurse practitioner/patient relationship.
*Participates in systemwide health management initiatives.
*Assists in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards.
*Receives and resolves patient complaints.
*Participates in the recruitment and replacement of other providers.
*Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in-services, and workshops.

Qualifications:
Education: Educational experience, licensure, and certification commensurate with that of a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New Mexico
NP in clinical practice.
5+ years of practice preferred.
Current New Mexico License required.
Ability to effectively interact with patients to understand their needs and explain data Written communication
Ability to work professionally and in a collegial manner with colleagues in accordance with Presbyterian policies.
Maintains professional growth and development
Performs clinical duties and documentation in accordance with practice quality standards and ABFM quality standards.
